This is my first animal crossing game. I know a lot of people love the games, so I wanted to give it a shot, especially after Stardew Valley.
It's slow starting out, and the game is real-time (the things you do are at the exact time in the video game world as the real world). After your island gets going, you start finding out your routine, and it's very therapeutic.
It's fun building your home, island, and talking to residents. The downside is that local co-op isn't great, so Arianna and I just logged on individually to the same island to keep things moving forward.
Overall I see why people like it so much and would definitely recommend!
