Hollow Knight is a fantastic metroidvania game, an absolute staple in the genre. You're a little bug knight who is trying to figure out what's happening in the world.
Probably the best part of the game is the boss fights. Exploration is fun, but the boss fights get very difficult. I stopped while trying to beat the final boss rush (pantheon), but I think it's possible with enough time investment.
This game is an absolute gem and is a must-play indie game.
