Josiah got me into Honkai by playing it some, and I decided to give it a shot. It sucked me in pretty quick (as gacha games do), but the combat is a blast! I enjoy the character building just as much as (if not more) than Genshin. It's easier to level characters, and they're fun to play.
My main complaint is that without elemental reactions, the gameplay isn't super complex and the powercreep is kinda insane. You have to keep playing to stay up to date with content, but it's also easier to keep playing than Genshin which is a huge plus.
