Iconoclasts is basically a metroidvania, and I think it was build by a solo developer. It uses a wrench as the main tool - you can turn things, slide down lines, fight, and more.
The story isn't incredibly memorable, but the gameplay is enjoyable. It's certainly not a staple in its genre, but it's fun to play!
