Thu, Oct 22 Work slowed down a bit today thankfully, and ended the day by beginning the built-in bookshelf project!
Wed, Oct 21 Morning run, lunch with a friend at Jason's Deli (pretty good, first time trying it!), work project launch and meetings, fixing a fire alarm, and small group tonight! Good day but this last week has felt crazy, must be the holiday season ramping up.
Mon, Oct 19 Enjoyed a nice ravioli dinner that oldest + wife made together! Today was busiest work day of the year (in terms of meetings), but still generally good meetings and preparation to the end of the year.
Ended the day playing Nintendo Land on Wii U for game night! It was a fun time, definitely clunky controls but a blast from the past Wii days 👾
Sat, Oct 17 What a busy day! House errands, early Christmas shopping for the youngest's gifts to the rest of the fam, and a baby shower for my sister. Packed but good altogether. This picture is from a little lunch break amidst errands while wife and oldest were at home.

Feeling tired from rough sleep the last couple days, wondering if I'm fighting some sort of asymptomatic thing.
Wed, Oct 14 Speedwork today with these bone conduction headphones for the second time. They've been pretty good so far, better audio quality than the last ones, and much better battery life after the last ones started dying.
Things are feeling crazy right now in general with holidays coming up - today was packed and this week is packed.
Tue, Oct 13 "Dad and lad" haircut for me and Bennett today! He does surprisingly well for how young he is.
Ended the day finishing an Outer Wilds randomizer with friends, and finished Sheepy: A Short Adventure for the first time - super fun game!
Mon, Oct 12 Kiddo wanted to turn the fire on today for a "campfire". Thought it would be fun until it warmed up later in the day 😅
Good day at work, planned the structure for kids choir, and date night to end the day!
Sun, Oct 11 Fairly normal Sunday, having a great time teaching kids' choir at church and playing piano for it.
Family walk, hanging out, Mario Kart, and of course our weekly pizza night!
Sat, Oct 10 Date day with Arianna! We had a yummy and very large breakfast, played some games, and came back home to hang out with the kids before they went to bed.
One game was called Propolis. You create a bee colony by collecting resources and building little creations. My favorite thing was the designers calling the meeples "beeples" 🐝
Fri, Oct 9 Family night with the cousins, such a great way to end the week! We played Point City, a cute little game about drafting a city and using the buildings to grow an even bigger city.
Kids all played together super well, we're enjoying the shift to older toddlers who can lead even the younger ones into funny imaginative games, with today's being "the floor is slime" 😂 🐌
Thu, Oct 8 Started playing Order of the Sinking Star today, I need to play earlier in the day because my tired brain struggled near the end of my session haha. Seems interesting so far!
Good day otherwise, lots of random meetings at work and some nice Chinese with the fam for dinner.
Tue, Oct 6 Dune Imperium - Uprising with the Tuesday game night crew! Fun way to end the day.
Got the garage door fixed today - feels like everything in the house is breaking right now, hopefully the broken season will end soon 🔚🔜
Mon, Oct 5 I always get a kick out of this mailbox - they could have chosen to put "1" instead but this is 10x better!
Fun day today overall, work as normal, and hanging out with the wife to finish Is This Seat Taken? and a couple episodes of Spy x Family.
Sat, Oct 3 Strollering (running with stroller) on a chill home day. Did cinnamon rolls this morning, played with cars with the kids, worked on the game, and finished Rhythm Heaven Groove - fun day all around but I'm ready to get back out once this sickness is passed!
Fri, Oct 2 Kid #2 is getting sick now 😭 But on the plus side, we're finally booking our sabbatical trip!!! Off to Barcelona in a couple months 😍
Thu, Oct 1 Played a round of Fighting Fruit with the kiddos! Poor Bennett still has hand foot mouth so hopefully it'll heal quickly.
Overall today was good, much better recurring work meeting than last week!
